In over 17 years at eTranzact Ghana, George led the workforce that grew from one to over 70 personnel with impeccable leadership and management skills. His technical expertise span across Fintech and Payments Product Developments, IT Operations and Service Management, IT Projects, Corporate Strategic Management, Process Management, Process re-engineering, Policies Compliance, Corporate Governance etc.

He is also adept in marketing strategy formulation, system designs and analysis. He supervised the development and deployments of electronic payment platforms, such as white-labelled mobile banking solutions, e-Collection platforms, Payment Cards platforms as well as pioneered various Government ePayment initiatives. George is an alumnus of The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), where he bagged a degree in Computer Science and Executive MBA respectively. In 2011, George won the Annual Innovative Award while undertaking his EMBA. He is a doctoral candidate at the Nobel International Business School (NiBS), Accra. He has attended other courses to sharpen his leadership and managerial capacities, particularly in the areas of IT Service Deliveries and Project Management.
Global Leadership and Youth Development: A Journey of Recognition, Mentoring, and Awards with George
As a global citizen, George considers it an honour to have served as a member of the global advisory comittee of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC). He was recently honoured with a Global Excellent Award in Leadership and Youth Development in an event held in London in recognition of the leadership role he has been playing in the fintech industry and his mentoring activities towards seeing youths of our days develop godly character in all areas of endeavours. Additionally, he had received other awards such as African Hero Awards by the Global Skills Hub (UK) and Youth Leadership Development Award by Humanitarian Awards Global, in 2023.
Making a Difference: Renovating the Children’s Ward of Amasaman Hospital – A Story of Personal Social Responsibility and Family Values”
As part of his personal social responsibility, George and his family renovated the Children’s Ward of Amasaman Hospital, a government hospital in the Greater Accra region. George is married to Omobolanle Babafemi and they both have 3 Children.
